Marvel's Tom Holland stars as Percy Pig in Marks & Spencer Christmas advert - digitalspy.com

Marvel hero Tom Holland has landed some coveted roles in his career – Billy Elliot, Rihanna, and Spider-Man to name but a few.

His latest gig, however, might just be the best yet, as the actor is now officially the voice of Marks & Spencer's beloved Percy Pig.

Sure, Christmas is a while away yet, but Tom has already made his debut in M&S Food's Christmas advert for 2021. Starring alongside Dawn French, Tom voices the cute confection after he comes to life with the help of a little fairy dust.

The short film, which comes after the release of John Lewis' Christmas ad, sees Percy trot around a night-time supermarket and excitedly eye up the store's festive offerings.

You'll be relieved to hear there's no pork on the menu, either.

"Of course, he couldn't have just any voice and having Tom Holland give Percy Pig his first words is about as exciting as it gets," a spokesperson for M&S Food said.

"Added to that the voice of the one and only Dawn French as the Christmas fairy – it's the stuff of Christmas dreams!"

Meanwhile, in other Tom Holland-related news, the Peter Parker actor recently admitted that he can't say too much about the upcoming Spider-Man movie as it would "ruin" it.

"It's just really difficult for me to talk about, because there are so many things I'd love to talk about that would help me embellish what I'm trying to explain," Tom said ahead of No Way Home's release next month.

"But I can't, because it would just ruin the film."

Spider-Man: Far From Home is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. Spider-Man: No Way Home has a December 17, 2021 release date.
