Jeremy Hunt will shortly deliver his Budget in the Commons, where he will set out his plan to grow the economy.
The Chancellor is expected to outline an extension of free childcare to parents of one and two-year-olds in an attempt to get them back into the workforce.
He is also likely to confirm corporation tax will rise from 19pc to 25pc from April in what he will call a "Budget for growth".
Mr Hunt has already announced ahead of the speech that typical household energy bills will be held at £2,500 a year for another three months from April.
