Soho House has filed for an initial public offering in New York that is expected to value the celebrity members’ club chain at more than $3 billion.
The group, which is being advised by JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley, will list under a new name, Membership Collective Group, and will offer its 119,000 members the chance to apply for shares.
The name reflects the variety of venues and services it offers, ranging from twenty-eight Soho House members’ clubs and nine Soho Works workspaces to The Ned hotel and members’ club in London, the Scorpios beach club in Mykonos and Soho Home, an online platform that sells the products used in its properties.
Nick Jones, its founder, opened the first Soho House at Greek Street
