KPMG UK chairman told staff to 'stop moaning' - The Times

The UK head of an accounting giant has stepped aside while the firm investigates allegations that he told staff to stop moaning about the pandemic in a video meeting.

Bill Michael, chairman of KPMG UK, is also said to have told a town hall gathering with members of the firm’s financial services consulting team that they should stop playing the victim card.

According to the Financial Times, which reported the original allegations, he apologised for his comments at the end of the call and in an email to all 1,500 members of the finance team.
