New rules are to come into force as the UK continues to fight against the coronavirus crisis.
More restrictions will be in place as regards to travelling to the UK, when in supermarkets and sitting outside.
Both Tesco and Sainsburys have issued statements over face masks, after Morrisons said on Monday that customers who refuse to wear a mask without a medical exemption will be told to leave stores.
A spokeswoman for Sainsbury's said: "We continue to have a range of measures in place to keep customers and colleagues safe in our stores.
"We have greeters outside our supermarkets and busy convenience stores to limit the number of customers coming into stores and continue to remind customers to wear face coverings and shop alone if they are able to.
"We also have posters and regular Tannoy announcements."
Meanwhile, sitting on a park bench for a “short pause” during exercise is reasonable, but leaving the home just to sit in public is unlawful under coronavirus rules, Downing Street has clarified.
