Supermarkets have recalled a range of items over safety fears.
The Food Standards Agency has issued alerts for chicken breasts, chocolates, cupcakes and more. The agency regularly issues recalls when informed of concerns by manufacturers or retailers. These can be to do with ingredients that are not listed on labels and can pose risks of potentially serious harm, especially to those who may be allergic or of illnesses such as salmonella from chicken products.
Anyone who has purchased these items can return them to the store for a refund.

Dark chocolate
Lidl GB has taken the precautionary step of recalling Deluxe Dark Chocolate Muesli Bar with Brazils and Cranberries because the product might contain salmonella.
The recall relates to their deluxe dark chocolate muesli bar with brazils and cranberries.
The pack size 3x45g are affected with a best before date of August 2020, September 2020, October 2020, December 2020, January 2021, February 2021, March 2021 and April 2021.
The product listed above may be contaminated with salmonella. Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the Lidl store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Chocolate Mini Cupcakes
Waitrose & Partners is recalling Chocolate Mini Cupcakes 9s because of undeclared walnuts (nuts).
The product was mis-packed and contains Coffee and Walnut Mini Cupcakes instead.
