Coronavirus: Ikea to reopen 19 stores with social distancing measures in place - Sky News

Homeware chain Ikea is set to reopen 19 stores across England and Northern Ireland with social distancing measures in place.

Families will be banned when the outlets open on 1 June, with the company saying it will only allow one adult and one child per household inside at a time.

The retailer said wardens will patrol stores and the number of customers will be limited.

Extra hand sanitiser and more deep cleans of bags, trolleys, bathrooms, equipment and touchscreens will take place.

Cash will not be accepted, with all payments by card or contactless device only.
