KFC has announced some exciting news for Scots fans.
The chicken chain will reopen a raft of restaurants in Scotland this week - bringing the total number which will be dishing out meals again to eight.
KFC closed all UK branches on May 23 when a nationwide lockdown was announced.
But it gradually opened 20 stores throughout April - including two in Glasgow - on a delivery-only basis.
Now even more Scots regulars can get their fried chicken fix as units open in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and East Kilbride as KFC bid to relaunch 100 restaurants by the end of May.
The fast food firm is serving up meals with a limited menu, and no eating in, as it enforces strict social distancing measures.
But this does mean you can get the Bargain Bucket delivered once more, contactless and to your door!
KFC emphasised that it was being careful in how it managed reopenings, with stringent new rules and hygiene measures in place.
KFC UK managing director Paula MacKenzie said: "This next stage allows us to continue to provide wider access to hot food for those who need it most, whether that’s key workers after a long shift or those working from home who need a quick, affordable dinner for the family.
"I’m hugely appreciative of our team members who have returned to work – it’s a challenging time for everyone, but we’re so glad to play our part in helping to feed the nation.”
The chain added that the newly opened restaurants also mean it can donate more food to the NHS and key workers.
"We’ll be able to continue to deliver 10,000 meals a week in partnership with Deliveroo - to add to the 13,000 we’ve already donated," KFC chiefs said.
The KFC restaurants opening again in Scotland are:
- Glasgow - Pollokshaws Road
- Glasgow - Great Western Retail Park
- Glasgow - Nitshill Road
- East Kilbride - Kingsgate Retail Park
- Edinburgh South - Charlotte Street (opens on Thursday April 30)
- Govan - Helen Street (opens on Friday, May 1)
- Linwood - Paisley Retail Park (opens on Friday, May 1)
-
Aberdeen - Great North Road (opens on Thursday, April 30)
If your nearest branch isn't there yet, KFC said you can check Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats later to see if it's back.
It's keeping an up-to-date list of open branches online on their website that will be added to over the next few days.
